Paste preparation kettle is a semi-hemispherical jacketed bowl having two shaft extensions exactly opposite, which are fixed in Plummer block bearings. This jacketed bowl has connection for steam inlet/drain  & also for steam pressure. When electric heating is to be used this jacket is filled with oil & that is heated by electric heater dipped inside the jacket.Depending upon the user requirement, paste preparation kettle has anchor or stirring. On the shaft extension of paste kettle, there is a worm & worm wheel which is turned rotation for the paste kettle when someone wants to empty the kettle.Water is put inside the paste kettle bowl for heating & after it gets heated, starch or other binders are added to make a binder or paste. This paste is to be then used for wet granulation process in equipments like high shear mixers (RMG) or in Fluid bed granulators.

TECHNICAL OFFER

The machine consists of a round disc with a vertical shaft spining at high speed at the bottom of cylinderical chamber. The cylinderical drum is called bowl and the spining disc is called a friction plate. The friction plate has a groove pattern to increase the friction with the product. When the extrudes are charged into the spherodizer, they  ate thrown to the end of spining plate by centrifugal forces. By the contact with the plate, the extrudes are cut into short cylinderical segments which are gradually rounded by the collisions with the drum wall and the plate probabilities of fines generated during the process is there, these fines will adhere on the surface of the spheres again  they can get under the friction plate, through the gap between the plate and the wall. The fines generated  under the friction plate will be discharged from the machine by means of a propeller after a certain retention time, the particles have obtained the desired spherical shape, then the discharge is via centrifugal force.

Operation :
Product is fed to the operating area of rotor, having a speed of 3000 rpm by specially designed feed device. The product is processed by high shear, pressures & friction between the stator & rotor, & is also subjected to intensive vibration which exerts their force on it by means of pressing & releasing actions. due to the slightly deviating tapering of the milling surfaces of stator & rotor, the angular gap becomes narrower towards the discharge section. This processed product continuously leaves the mill through the drain pipe, if required, it can be recirculated.
